Episode 156: Jack’s back
Tim: And why exactly should I interview you?
Jack: Because I’m an experienced chef and that’s what you’re looking for.
Tim: But I don’t want someone who threatens me and goes behind my back snivelling to influential relatives when he can’t take responsibility for his actions.
Jack: I was desperate to keep my job.
Tim: But how do you think you made me feel, talking to your uncle Henry?
Jack: Humiliated. I’m sorry Tim. I shouldn’t have pulled rank. I just didn’t want to have to tell my parents I’d stuffed up once again.
Tim: So you want to be able to hold down a job and hold your head up high. I want a chef I can rely on. I can keep my side of the bargain. Can you keep yours?

Jack: Yeah, sure! I can totally keep my part of the bargain.
Tim: okay… I’m going to give you one more chance, you understand?!
Jack: yes, thank you so much
Tim: so tomorrow is going to be your first day here as a chef again and I want it to be perfect.
Jack: of course it’s going to be perfect, you’re not going to hear any complaints from the clients.
Tim: ok, I’m glad about that, now go home and get ready for tomorrow
Jack: goodbye my favorite boss
Tim: yeah, yeah… goodbye

Catalina as Tim / Henry

Aracelli as Henry / Tim

Tim: So, what’s new with you Henry?
Henry: I don’t quite know how to put this. It’s very awkward.
Tim: Come on, you can tell me.
Henry: It’s about a young relative of mine. I hate to ask but I was wondering if you might give him a job.
Tim: Well being related to you is a great reference for a start. Any experience in the catering trade?
Henry: He’s worked as a chef actually.
Tim: Perfect! Where? Any place I’d have heard of?
Henry: Your very own establishment Tim. It’s my young and rather head-strong nephew Jack I’m talking about.
Tim: Henry! You don’t ask for much, do you?
Henry: Please, give him one more chance. For me?
Tim: I’m between a rock and a hard place. I’ll need to think it over.

Henry: But… please I need an answer right now!.
Tim: My answer is no, I hired him in the past and all he did was break ten cups and treat customers badly.
Henry: He won’t do that kind of things anymore.
Tim: And how do I know he will work properly now?.
Henry: Trust me… I swear he will do everything right.
Tim: Ok, only because you are my life-long friend.
Henry: Thanks Tim, I promise you he has changed.
Tim: I hope so…
